3 Popular Ways to Cruise in Alaska

As you consider how you might like to cruise in Alaska consider the opportunities provided by these well known cruise lines.  For many, cruising to Alaska is the vacation of a lifetime.  Others can repeat their first experience more than once.
Whatever your situation, take a look at what these companies have to offer.

Carnival Cruise Lines

This is the largest cruise line in the world and primarily attracts American couples ranging in age from mid thirties to mid fifties along with their children who can be entertained at Camp Carnival.  Carnival accommodation is roomier than most with nearly 80% of cabins with ocean views and a large proportion of those with balconies.  Food is available in restaurants ranging from high end steak house quality to less formal buffet meals.

Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity has been operating for 20 years and is best known as a cruise in Alaska with high quality food as well as an excellent standard of service.  These cruises develop a sophisticated atmosphere and target the same market as Carnival Cruises.  Entertainment includes a series of revues, live bands, guest speakers, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and even bingo occasions!  Cabins are large with many enjoying an ocean view.  Most have convertible sofas as additional accommodation while some include walk in closets and spa tubs.

Holland America Line

A cruise line with a very long history, Holland America has been cruising since the late 1800’s.  Its classic cruises best known for their comfort attract a combination of retirees and families.  School vacation times across summer are very popular.  The quality of the food on these cruises has improved and don’t miss the late evening Dutch Chocolate treat.  Entertainment features sophisticated revues and cabaret acts along with live bands and movies.

Other cruise lines from which you might like to choose your cruise in Alaska feature on this website but these popular companies each provide vacations for thousands of travelers wanting to experience the spectacular Alaskan coastline and are well worth investigating.  Happy cruising!
