Last Minute Alaska Cruises, It’s Not Too Late to Pick Up and Go!

The weather forecast for the rest of this week in Anchorage, Alaska is fine and sunny with a maximum temperature around 65F. This is typical of Alaskan end-of-summer and beginning-of-fall weather. Norwegian Cruise Line on the ‘Norwegian Star’ sails from Seattle on September 12 on a 7 day cruise and sails along the Inside Passage via Ketchikan, Juneau, Sawyer Glacier, Skagway, Prince Rupert and returning to Seattle. This cruise has balcony rooms available for $1419.

Royal Caribbean International on ‘Serenade of the Seas’ has a 14 night cruise package departing from Vancouver on September 19. Highlights of this cruise include Tracy Arm, Sitka, Skagway, Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Ketchikan, Seattle, Astoria, San Francisco and San Diego. Inside rooms are available for $1349.

Packages on these last minute Alaska cruises includes accommodation as nominated, meals, coffee, tea, milk, juice, onboard activities including fitness facilities, table tennis, some enrichment programs, Broadway/Las Vegas type entertainment, piano bars, discos, lounges, supervised children’s programs, port charges and government taxes and fees.

So with very competitive end of season prices, it’s not too late to enjoy the grandeur of Alaska’s coastline on one of these last minute Alaska cruises while someone else does all the driving. Go on, go for it and enjoy the vacation of a lifetime!
